Re: SEGA 32X VIDEO ISSUE (DOOM)
Do you have that little cable that connects the back of the genesis to the back of the 32x? No, I believe the sega version that I have isn't required to use that patch link cable. Also, I don't remember ever using this cable before. If I am not mistaken the Sega 2 doesn't have a port to even plug t...

SEGA 32X VIDEO ISSUE (DOOM)
I am trying to restore my old game systems and I am now working on my Sega 32x. The unit is plugged in my Sega 2 with a Sega CD version 2 and I am trying to play DOOM. The game boots up just fine and I can see the menu system along with my status bar at the bottom of my screen. However, I cannot see...

Re: Sega CD 2 spindle issue
I was thinking about wireing a seperate switch for power to the spindle motor but then I thought of something else....during gameplay doesn't the disk stop spinning at certain parts of the game? If that is the case I am wondering if the disk spinning at all times would interfere with the part of the...

Sega CD 2 spindle issue
Hey, I hope somebody out here has the answer to this question. My sega cd turns on just fine and the motor for the laser works. The motor that doesn't work is the cd spindle motor. I took out the motor and just to test it I hooked up a 9v battery to it and it worked just fine. Soldered it back into ...
