Xbox 360 Controller Pinouts?
Hey, my controller has stopped working with batteries and wont even work with power supply on the terminals.
I was just wondering what voltage is needed for the 4 pins behind the batteries for the play and charge kit?
Any info on other places voltage can be given to the board would be great.
Thanks

Micro ATX PSU Troubles
Hey, I am currently using a micro ATX PSU 240W power supply for my portable xbox 360 but yesterday the 3.3v and ground shorted together by mistake. Now i have no outputs from the power supply. Ive had a look and checked the main fuse and thats fine, but it definatly sounds like a fuse problem as I c...

Re: Help! Xbox 360 USB relocate problem
Thick wire isnt the best idea, the thicker the wire the more voltage drop you will get, which may underpower the usb port.
Edit: Yes i could be confused, sorry

Hey all, Ive started my first mod project, and yes i know the xbox 360 is hard but mine will be a bit different. Already got my case, a metal breifcase 500mmx330mm, the perfect size for a 20" widescreen monitor. I have a lot of room in the bottom of the case so ive also got a micro ATX PSU to power ...

Hmmm, that is true, cause it doesnt spin without a disk does it...
Then yes, either the laser or the circuitry to the motor.

Re: Sega CD 2 spindle issue
Hey, I dont know about the sega, but with general electronics there are the basic checks. It could still be the board, just follow the tracks from the motor and look for anything obvious. It should be getting enough amps if you havn't chaged the power supply in any way. This is a guess but I assume ...

Re: Help! Xbox 360 USB relocate problem
How long are you extending the wires? Are you getting power from the USB port? You can check that with a multimeter. If it is getting power you can try twisting the data wires together as the data signals could be getting interference and corrupted. If you are not getting power to the ports you can ...

Re: Tact Switches
Im pretty sure they would be 2 pole, so you can have the switch doing 2 different things at the same time without interfering with eachother. Just bell one out with a multimeter or test light to see which pins are conducting when open and closed.

Re: LED vs LCD Monitor
Ah yes, how silly of me. Don't know how I missed that. I imagine LED backlights produce a lot less heat? Would sealing up the back of the monitor be a problem? I know in normal LCDs, the inverter cables cant be lengthened due to dimming. Would LEDs have brightness issues if the power cables were ext...

LED vs LCD Monitor
Hey all, I've decided to make a portable Xbox 360 using a pretty big metal briefcase. I am planning on fitting a 20" monitor in the lid and can't decide between LED or LCD. I have 40mm depth to play with and the monitors from Samsung I have been looking at are 47mm for the LCD and 62mm for the LED. ...
