Re: I want to know everything.
Sorry for double post, but I got another question. Is it ok to drill a small hole in the N64 motherboard? I want to because I want to hold the motherboard in with screws and not let it rattle around in the case once it's done.

Re: I want to know everything.
dont start with the batteries, you can always use a power supply for that, I recomend getting the case made so at least when you've mounted stuff and wired it in you don't have to about it. in regards to the screen, you have to look in the stickies and the reference section, hailrazer reveiwed 3, 3...

Re: I want to know everything.
Bic? like then brand of pen. Go to the store, buy a pack of those super cheap pens. You can use a lighter to melt the ends of them and then jam them into the screw holes on the N64. This will create a mold out of the pen around the screw so that you can unscrew it. Apply a lot of pressure as you un...

People so far said that I should start with the battery part. I know which ones to use and all, but what I don't know is how i'm gonna wire this all up. Can you use something OTHER than a psone screen? Just wondering. When will you know that you damaged it, and how would you fix it? Wiring up the co...

Re: Oh Noes
The same thing happened to me. I put the top of the N64 shell on the motherboard, hooked it up, and plugged it into the wall last. It turned on, and it was playable.

So, just wire the Screen, speakers, controller, and rechargable batterry will make me a portable? Of coarse you then make a shell and insert buttons, but you will have a shell less , button less portable N64?

I was afriad you were going to say that. The battery part looks a bit confusing, and i'm a bit nervous on making the portable in the first place because so far when I see people chat about thier progress on a portable, it makes no sense to me,
