Re: how to make a hinge?

Id get some small cabinet hinges, take out the rod in the middle an replace it with threaded rod, tighten nuts onto the end until it is a suitable stiffness and then seal the nuts with thread locker on one end and ...

Re: Review Section!
would be cool !, could go in the reference section as reviews on anything mildly portablising related might be usefull to someone someday. A database of reviews of parts would be great, if they are ebay items a generic name and picture should be included though. Would be FANTASTIC to have a small da...

Re: using digital input, not analog?
did some a googlin on the techwell tw8817 chip, looks as if it is the display driver chip, the data sheet says it can accept s-video, which the beagle board natively supports, so theres a little improvement in quality. Another thing it says in the data sheet is that this chip has 2 wire serial proba...

Re: using digital input, not analog?

Also vga isn't digital just so you know) Try it on compsite , if things are readable and it...

Re: 1/8 watt resistors for 2xnes to snes controller mod
back in the days when i used to do model rocketry i used 1/8 w resistors to ignite the motors, and i am sure you can pull at least 2 amps through them before them catching fire and easily half an amp safely. Mind you im not sure using them as igniters is the best experience to draw on, any ways than...

Re: What to do with a 10 year old pc (dell t500)
could set it up as a server, there a fun project and often very usefull. Also you probably want to install linux or bsd on it as windows 2000/95/98/ME is an experience no man deserves and xp wont run well.
