Re: Overclocking your GBA
Tell us the symptoms. Is the screen only white for a long time, and then finally the gameboy logo shows up? Or does it just start with regular speed? Does it even turn on at all? What gameboy are you using?

Re: Power Question
Also I happen to know offhand that a 7805 usually needs at least 7V to run (it varies) . Re: Power Question
Hailraizer is right, maybe it's nearing the end of it's lifetime and there is the possibility that it can't handle the load. Plus the 7805 isn't 100% efficient, so that's going to mess up your figures.

Re: Backlit game boy color?

The stamped heatsink. If yours looks like that then this could be interesting If it doesn't have those depressions, then it's a normal one.

Let me ask you though, what did the heatsink look like? Was it like every other n64? Or did the top one with the fins go directly to the main processors?mako321 wrote:totally. That's why they have the ds

Yeah, I had one of those too. Ninty is just a bunch of cheap bastards and at the end of the n64's lifetime, they just threw together any remaining parts/boards/crap they had
