Yeah, I posted that a while back, it was a dumb idea. I've just finished painting a DMG and a GBC, and I'm frontlighting a GBC soon. Might attempt a NES portable. ^^
Cheers.

PulseVU Chip for GameCube?
Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was a such thing as a PulseVU chip for the GameCube, which slowly dims the LEDs and then brightens, and so on. My plan is to take my Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness limited edition GameCube (which got a little scratched up when I wasn't home..). I'm planning on re...

Re: GameBoy Advance Mod
Hey everyone, I thought I'd show a small update, the parts came in and I started working on it (barely) in this pic I have 4 LEDs wired up, because I only got one side of the back done.
Anyway, here it is.

Re: GameBoy Advance SP MOD
I would suggest getting an answer from someone like Palmer (I know I always refer to him for everything xD)
But yeah..you are dealing with Li-On batteries here, you've gotta be careful.

Yeah, you also have to run wires from the original points on the board to the corresponding ones on the cart slot.joeyjoe9876 wrote:just desolder it lol

Re: GameBoy Color Problem
Well, see I don't have to push it back in, it's my finger that makes contact with one of the componants on top of that small part. It's like a very small black rectangle. Basically this thing acts like it's been circuit bent xD

GameBoy Color Problem
Hey everyone, As I'm waiting for my parts to come in for a GBA mod, I've been tinkering around with a GBC laying around and, well. I basically have this odd idea for a case mod, but here's the problem... I soldered an external AA battery holder (so it'll be easier for the case), and that's pretty mu...

Re: GBA LED mod
Or if you don't mind buying in bulk, eBay! Like what I did when I couldn't find an 8MHz crystal oscillator to overclock my GBA, nor could I find blue LEDs. (I bought 20 Oscillators and 50 Blue LEDs off eBay.) Still waiting for them to come in. ^^

Re: GameBoy Advance Mod
Oh and can anyone recommend a GBA flash cart? I'm not going to be using it to run ROMs or anything, just a few movies (purchased legally through iTunes).

Yeah, XDsnowpenguin wrote:
The LEDs are blue. I believe he's just going to stick them in the casing to light up the whole GBA.
I'm not attempting to do any screen mod whatsoever.
